Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Lansdowne Excavation Limited is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Perform other routine maintenance
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 30 to 44 hours per week
