Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Industry Inspector to join our team at BWX Technologies, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting non-destructive examinations and ensuring the quality of nuclear components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform NDE based on certifications in all areas of the Shop.
  • Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
  • Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation.
  • Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and customer representatives.
  • Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety and environmental guidelines/regulations.
  • Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.

Requirements:
  • Proven commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must possess MT CGSB-2 or PT CGSB-2 plus one of the following: CEDO, UT CGSB-1, RT CGSB-1, or 2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWXT Canada Ltd.
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in nuclear power-related industry.
  • Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member.
  • Proficient with computer software.
  • Availability to work any of the following shifts: Days, Nights, or Weekends.
