We are looking for a talented Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our Canadian Advanced Analytics team and lead the development of AI solutions in Operations, transforming how we operate and interact with data. Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implement AI Solutions: Develop advanced machine learning models using Generative AI techniques to tackle complex business challenges, focusing on operational modernization and automation.
- Guide LLMs Toward Desired Outcomes: Master prompt engineering to guide Large Language Models (LLMs) toward desired outcomes. Fine-tune models for specific tasks and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to improve model accuracy.
- Collaborate with Teams: Engage with teams from various functions to discover automation opportunities with significant impact, outline project scope, and create solution roadmaps for innovative solutions.
- Validate Model Performance: Design and complete rigorous A/B tests using advanced statistical methods to validate model performance. Employ techniques such as Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) for model refinement.
- Advocate for Standard Methodologies: Advocate for standard methodologies and processes in MLOps and LLMOps, including model versioning and monitoring. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation.
- Stay at the Forefront of AI Innovation: Continuously research and evaluate advancements in AI/ML, LLMs, and cloud technologies. Integrate these advancements into our solutions, driving automation and competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience working with large-scale systems; experience in intelligent document processing is a plus.
- Technical Expertise:
- Extensive hands-on experience with state-of-the-art LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Llama 3) and related tools.
- Cloud Platforms: Deep understanding of Azure services, including Azure ML and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Framewoks: Proficiency in frameworks like LangChain and RAGAS.
- Programming: Expert-level proficiency in Python and rapid adoption of new libraries and methodologies.
- Databases: Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with vector databases like Pinecone.
- Operations Experience: Experience in managing high-availability systems.
- Full Stack Engineering Exposure: Ability to build proof of concepts/demos including front-end and back-end development.
- Adaptability: Proficiency in quickly picking up new frameworks and libraries.
- Portfolio Showcase: Ability to showcase a portfolio demonstrating relevant skills and accomplishments.
