About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at 1202663 BC Limited. As a Project Manager - Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Budgeting

Develop and manage project budgets, including estimating costs, identifying potential risks, and developing contingency plans.

Team Management

Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Quality Control

Establish and implement quality control procedures to ensure projects meet the required standards and specifications.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are managed.

Risk Management

Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with construction projects, including health and safety risks, environmental risks, and financial risks.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a project management role, preferably in the construction industry.

Skills

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of professionals.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.

Language

Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
