Family Services Manager

Job Summary:
The Family Services Manager is a key member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Manitoba management team, responsible for managing the Weekend Family Services Coordinator and associates to ensure a welcoming and inclusive home away from home for families seeking the services and supports of RMHC Manitoba's House program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction and guidance of the Senior FS Manager to ensure referral and admission procedures follow House policies and standards.
- Maintain the highest level of family service mission delivery by providing support and resources to families, including liaison with hospital partner referral sources and management of external resources.
- Recruit and train staff for House Family Services coverage as needed, ensuring staff have effective and strategic input in regards to performance plans and evaluations.
- Assist House volunteers as needed and work effectively and collaboratively with all other departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Possession of a passion for Ronald McDonald House Charities Manitoba's mission.
- Knowledge of the non-profit sector, pediatric health, and family-centered care.
- Highly proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel.
- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude coupled with care and compassion.
