As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, executing expense control, and ensuring excellent client experiences while maintaining a great team morale.

Your primary focus will be on overseeing the operations of the clinic, recruiting, training, and motivating staff, handling human resource issues, working with the Operations Director to create and execute the vision for the clinics, and helping grow the clinics in both revenue and new clientele.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the smooth and efficient operations of the clinic
  • Recruiting, training, and motivating staff
  • Handling human resource issues when they arise and escalating to the Operations Director when needed
  • Working with the Operations Director to create and execute the vision for the clinics
  • Helping grow the clinics in both revenue and new clientele

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • An abiding love of animals and a deep understanding of the human/animal bond
  • Previous experience as a manager, preferably in the veterinary, retail, or healthcare industry
  • Experience with revenue and labour budgets and drafting/managing schedules
  • Good management and leadership skills with the ability to set priorities, delegate, motivate, and develop the hospital and team to become top performers in the community
  • An approach that puts the client first at all times and an experienced people manager who has hired, trained, and held people accountable for their performance
  • Developed emotional intelligence to be able to contain emotional situations around the clinic
  • Solid communication skills, both when dealing with clients and interpersonal relationships
  • Collaboration skills demonstrating a strong desire to build rapport and solid relationships with team members, clients, and the community
  • Financial skills to understand the needs of the business and the importance of growing revenues and controlling expenses
  • Passion for what you do every day Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude are a must

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
