The Animal Hospital of Oakville is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Veterinary Clinic Operations Director to oversee the smooth and efficient operations of our dynamic hospital in Oakville. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional client experience while maintaining high team morale.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring seamless delivery of veterinary services.
- Recruit, train, and motivate staff to achieve their full potential.
- Handle human resource issues promptly and escalate to the Operations Director as needed.
- Work closely with the Operations Director to develop and implement business strategies that drive revenue growth and expense control.
- Create action plans to maximize success for the clinic and staff.
- Prepare regular reports on a weekly basis to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- An abiding love of animals and a deep understanding of the human/animal bond.
- Previous experience as a manager, preferably in the veterinary or healthcare industry.
- Experience with revenue and labour budgets, scheduling, and performance management.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to set priorities, delegate, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- A client-centric approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Emotional intelligence to manage emotional situations effectively.
- Financial acumen to understand business needs and drive growth.
- PASSION FOR VETERINARY CARE AND EXCELLENCE IN EVERY ASPECT OF THE JOB.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
