Reservations Agent

The Reservations Agent plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre. As the first point of contact, you will ensure that our guests' holiday needs are met, and our hotel team is prepared to provide a seamless stay.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver personalized service to guests, assisting with booking reservations, restaurant reservations, and resort activities.
- Share knowledge of current pricing and promotions with Room Division colleagues to drive sales and revenue.
- Maintain a professional and friendly presence in the Reservations Office, ensuring a positive atmosphere for guests and colleagues alike.
- Monitor and respond to guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Complete travel agency commissions and monthly destination market reports to drive business growth.
- Handle customer queries and disputes with tact and diplomacy.
- Assist the Front Desk as a Guest Services Agent, providing exceptional service during check-ins, check-outs, and special requests.
- Act as an ambassador for the hotel, providing guests with insider knowledge and recommendations for internal and external events.
- Interact with guests throughout their stay, anticipating their needs and proactively resolving concerns.
- Drive customer loyalty by building individualized connections with guests, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Experience in a Front Office team or equivalent customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of guest service processes.
- A working knowledge of hotel systems, specifically Opera, is a strong benefit.
- Proficiency in computer systems, such as Microsoft Office.
- Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field is an advantage.
- Professional, well-organized, and exceptional interpersonal skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a definite asset.
