Front Office Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservations Supervisor to join our team at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for overseeing the reservations process, ensuring exceptional guest service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the reservations process, ensuring seamless communication with guests and internal teams.
- Supervise and train Reservations Agents to ensure they meet high standards of guest service and sales performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Front Office team to ensure efficient and effective operations, including scheduling, task delegation, and business volume management.
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a reservations or Front Office role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Opera.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service and driving business growth.
