Walinga Inc. is a leading manufacturer of innovative agricultural equipment, and we're seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to join our team.

Salary: $24.15 per hour

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer to collaborate with our Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to develop cutting-edge feed trailers and related equipment. As a Mechanical Designer, you'll be responsible for creating detailed designs, drawings, and layouts using CAD software, ensuring adherence to design standards and manufacturing requirements.

You will work closely with suppliers and vendors to source mechanical components, conduct testing and validation of mechanical designs, and provide technical support and guidance to internal departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Experience in mechanical design, preferably in the manufacturing or agricultural industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (PTC Creo or similar) for mechanical design.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements related to mechanical designs in industrial environments.
