About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Petro Canada. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Manage Store Operations: Oversee the efficient operation of the retail store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, ensuring a positive experience and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Order and manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure the store is well-stocked and running efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other store staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and management, to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail management experience
  • Work Setting: Retail business
  • Supervision: 3-4 people
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, and able to work in a team environment
