Job Title: Senior Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs) and high-performance equalizers. Our team is responsible for designing innovative optical interface chips that have made our client's TIAs the best in class for coherent long-haul and metro systems as well as PAM4 data center systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance analog and RF circuits, including transimpedance amplifiers, transmission line structures, and millimeter wave structures.
  • Lead the design of broadband analog circuits for optical front-end receivers and develop microarchitecture of major circuit blocks.
  • Guide a team of designers to implement circuit designs and work with various technologies, including SiGe BiCMOS and CMOS.
  • Collaborate with other functional groups to facilitate post-silicon validation, qualification, transition to mass production, and customer support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Master's/Ph.D. in EE with 5+ years of experience in high-performance RF/Analog Receiver/TIA design.
  • Proven experience in IC design, including chip tape-out and lab evaluation of receiver design.
  • Solid experience in using EDA CAD tools, performing analog custom layout, and measuring IC performance.
  • Deep understanding of device physics, control/feedback loop stability analysis, and transistor-level design.
  • Experience in AGC loop design, high-precision analog circuits, and CTLE design is a plus.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
