Senior Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to contribute to the development of high-performance optical interface chips. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF and analog design, with experience in leading-edge transimpedance amplifier design and transmission line structures.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop high-performance analog and RF circuits for optical frontend receivers.
- Develop transmission line structures and other millimeter wave structures to enable higher performance.
- Lead a team of designers to implement major circuit blocks and guide them to achieve high-performance results.
- Work with other functional groups to facilitate post-silicon validation, qualification, and transition to mass production.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 10-15 years of experience in RF and analog design.
- Proven experience in IC design, including chip tapeout and lab evaluation of receiver design.
- Strong experience in using EDA CAD tools and performing analog custom layout.
- Experience in measuring IC performance and debug of design to correlate simulations to measurements.
- Deep understanding of fundamentals, including detailed transistor level design, device physics, and control/feedback loop stability analysis.
- Experience in AGC loop design, high-precision analog circuits, and CTLE design.
- Experience in package/system integration issues and project experience in using different technologies.
- Ability to translate chip-level specifications into architecture and strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
