We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Team Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a member of our collaborative care team, you will provide direct hands-on care based on the needs of our patients and programs/unit.

In this role, you will support patients' activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, reinforcing patient and family teaching according to established guidelines and the plan of care.

To be successful in this position, you must have a Continuing Care Assistant Program certification with the Department of Health and Wellness, and be registered and active with the CCA Registry. Current Basic Life Support Certification is also required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $23.71 - $25.70 hourly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.

This is a permanent, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. Preference is given to bargaining unit employees for unionized positions.
