Printing Press Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Assistant to join our team at Cascades Canada ULC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our printing presses, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain printing presses, including setting up and adjusting equipment as needed
- Monitor and control ink levels, color, and viscosity to ensure optimal print quality
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
- Assist skilled tradespersons with repairs and maintenance tasks
- Monitor machine operation and report any malfunctions to supervisors
- Perform other laboring and elemental activities as required
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience in a related field, such as printing or manufacturing, is an asset
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
