Senior Kitchen Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Kitchen Supervisor to join our culinary team at Tigh Na Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that our guests receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our culinary team, including chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, meeting the expectations of our guests and the resort's culinary standards.
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory, and provide regular reports to management.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items, working closely with our culinary team to ensure that they meet the resort's quality standards.
- Train and develop the skills of our culinary team members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standards.
- Work closely with our purchasing team to ensure that all food and kitchen supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed in the kitchen, and that all staff are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
- 3+ years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Proven track record of success in a supervisory role, with experience in leading and developing a team.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of staff and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
