Kwantlen Polytechnic University is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team.
Job OverviewThis role is responsible for ensuring that all financial documentation submitted to the Finance database is accurate and compliant with established accounting principles and University policies.
Responsibilities- Review and process financial documents for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and University policies
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Perform other related duties as required
- Completion of a related post-secondary program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Good working knowledge of English (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of integrated finance accounting systems
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
