About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Ontario Sky Jump. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Write, modify, integrate, and test software code to ensure high-quality applications.
  • Code Maintenance: Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required to ensure they continue to meet customer needs.
  • Technical Communication: Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Requirements Gathering: Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements to ensure software applications meet customer needs.
  • Specifications Development: Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications for software applications.
  • Research and Evaluation: Research and evaluate a variety of software products to ensure they meet customer needs.
  • Special Effects Software: Program special effects software for film and video applications.
  • E-commerce and Internet Applications: Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications.
Technical Skills
  • Programming Languages: Shell script, Linux, C, C++, JavaOS, Java, JavaScript, SQL.
  • Software Development: Enterprise Applications Integration (EAI), Software development, MS Office, MS Windows, Spreadsheet, MySQL, Python, TypeScript.
  • Database Management: MS Excel, MS SQL Server.
