About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Bombay Bistro/2576256 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Cleaning Activities: Plan and coordinate the cleaning schedule to ensure that all areas of the premises are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Inspect Sites: Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify any areas that require additional cleaning or maintenance.
  • Recommend Services: Identify areas where additional services such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment may be required.
  • Process Payments: Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs and ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support to cleaning staff as needed to ensure that they have the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of activity.
  • Tight Deadlines: Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure that all cleaning activities are completed on time.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks such as cleaning and maintenance to ensure that the premises are kept in a clean and safe condition.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions, and handle heavy loads as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
