Job Summary

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Dengarry Professional Services Ltd. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual, learning, mental health, and physical disabilities in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to clients with daily living activities, including housekeeping, food preparation, and personal care.
  • Assist clients with accessing community resources and services, such as medical appointments and social outings.
  • Develop and implement behavior management programs to support clients' needs.
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Developmental Services Worker (DSW) Training
  • Mandt System training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Reliable transportation
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs). The position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
