This role involves delivering high-quality estate planning services to High Net Worth (HNW) Scotia Wealth Management clients. Key responsibilities include partnering with advisors to meet with clients and prospects, creating value by providing tailored estate plans and highlighting appropriate strategies and solutions.
The successful candidate will play a key risk management role, ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive client experience while operating within established policies and guidelines.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the effective functioning of the team by building relationships with business lines and corporate function contacts, coaching and mentoring junior consultants, and facilitating open communication.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in estate, trust, or financial planning. A minimum of 3 years of wealth planning experience, along with in-depth knowledge of wealth and estate planning strategies, is essential.
A university degree in law is an asset, as is membership of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Proficiency in French and English is required for candidates residing in Quebec.
Location:
The successful candidate may reside in Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, or Moncton, serving English-speaking clientele.
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this role is around $85,000-$110,000, depending on location and experience.
