Humber River Health is seeking a Leading Oncology Physician to join our esteemed team in delivering comprehensive cancer care. This dynamic role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and consultations for patients with cancer or suspected oncological issues, ensuring seamless coordination across healthcare professionals.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, incorporating patient history, test results, and cancer stage.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers, providing clear explanations of treatment options, prognosis, and potential side effects.
- Maintain accurate medical records, adhering to healthcare regulations and standards.
To succeed in this position, you will possess:
- Relevant certification from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada.
- Membership with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario and a valid OHIP billing number.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and clinical excellence.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals.
