About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Linda Di Giantommaso. As a Personal Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Medication Reminders: Assist clients with medication reminders and administration, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Language: English
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week
Work Environment

As a Personal Care Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often in clients' homes. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and engage in physical activities to assist clients. A combination of sitting, standing, and walking is expected.
