Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PUR & SIMPLE Breakfast & Lunch. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
- Food Preparation and Service: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that our customers receive excellent service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Environment: Noisy, odours, hot.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, dependability.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 35 to 44 hours per week.
- English Language: Work Language: English.
