Medical Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team at NuView Radiology and Ultrasound.
Job Summary:The Medical Office Assistant will provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring seamless communication and efficient patient care. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Greet patients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate contact or service area.
- Provide accurate and timely information to clients and the public.
- Process and record patient information, including medical records and billing.
- Operate the switchboard and telephone system, handling incoming and outgoing calls.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and preparing medical records.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, sorting, and distributing mail.
- Answer phone calls, relay messages, and provide general administrative support.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
This role is based in an urban area, working in a general office setting within a healthcare institution. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
