Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Anand Merchandising Ltd. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
- Process Payments: Tabulate total payment for goods or services required, receive payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
- Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Merchandise Handling: Weigh produce and bulk foods, wrap or place merchandise in bags, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Foreign Currency Exchange: Calculate foreign currency exchange and provide accurate change to customers.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required. Permanent position available.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
