Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Precision Mechanisms Specialist to join our team at EXTREME ABRASIVES.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for computing dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables. They will also set up and adjust production machinery/tools, repair machine tools and parts, fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, and maintain inspection records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
Maintenance and Repair:
  • Repair machine tools and parts
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
Quality Control:
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintaining inspection records
