Job Title: CNC Machinist - Precision Manufacturing Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at BRAR MACHINING CORP. as a Precision Manufacturing Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for computing dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and maintaining precision measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work with computer-aided design (CAD) software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mastercam CAD/CAM experience
  • Experience with computer numerical control (CNC) machines
