  • At GRD Contracting Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, reading blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • You will also be responsible for fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, scheduling and co-ordinating work on sites, and maintaining, repairing and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
  • The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in the trade and possess excellent written communication skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a team environment.
