Job Description

The Education & Participation Programs Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating school and community programming, working closely with YPT staff, educators, community partners, and artist educators. This includes planning, scheduling, and communication with these stakeholders, as well as evaluating program effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate school and community programming, including planning, scheduling, and communication with YPT staff, educators, community partners, and artist educators.
  2. Work with the Associate Director, Education & Participation to hire and schedule artist educators for school workshops and residencies as well as community programs.
  3. Plan and develop Member School programs, including ongoing communication with teachers and principals.
  4. Facilitate post-performance Q&A sessions at the theatre.
  5. Coordinate accessible performances and associated events in conjunction with the Associate Director, Education & Participation.
