About the Role

As a Clinical Communicative Disorders Specialist at Closing the Gap, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of your clients. You will work collaboratively with a cross-discipline team to provide outstanding support and expand your career in the healthcare industry.

This role requires assessment of client speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities, as well as knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and policies. You will need to use a systematic approach to decision making and be able to adapt to a flexible schedule and environment.

Your responsibilities will include informing the Case Manager of client goals, progress, and status through written reports, individual discussions, or case conferences. You will also need to have the physical capabilities to perform the duties of the position.

About Our Team

At Closing the Gap, we value our team members and offer a competitive salary range estimated to be between $70,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience. Requirements
  • Current active registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Valid G2/G driving license and access to a reliable insured vehicle
