About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Closing the Gap Healthcare. As a member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work with school-age children and provide care in a collaborative and caring environment.

Job Summary

This part-time role involves delivering care to children with rehabilitation needs in our School-based Rehabilitation Program. You will work collaboratively to provide patient care both virtually and in-person visits, assess and treat pediatric clients with various needs, including speech sound delays and disorders, motor speech challenges, stuttering, and voice disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver care to children with rehabilitation needs in our School-based Rehabilitation Program
  • Work collaboratively to provide patient care both virtually and in-person visits
  • Assess and treat pediatric clients with various needs
  • Develop and implement plans for short-term consultation, training, and intervention for specific rehabilitation needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A highly energetic and enthusiastic approach to working with children and families
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • A valid G2/G driving license and access to a reliable insured vehicle
