Job Title: Manager / Deputy / Assistant Manager, EV Regulations

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Manager / Deputy / Assistant Manager, EV Regulations. As a key member of the National Electric Vehicle Centre (NEVC), you will play a critical role in developing and implementing regulatory policies and frameworks to ensure safe and reliable provision of EV charging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regulatory policies and frameworks for EV charging services
  • Administer the licensing of EV charging operators and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure safe and reliable provision of EV charging services
  • Contribute to achieving outcomes of ensuring safety, managing operational constraints, and being business-friendly

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in any discipline
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for details
  • Experience in enforcement policy or operations, such as regulating licensees or use of banned products
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational needs, and recommend effective and efficient use of enforcement resources
  • Able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, and with various stakeholders such as companies and other government agencies
