Senior Mechanical Engineer

CRB is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical discipline deliverables and budget on projects of varying complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal and external architects and engineers, as well as clients, construction managers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities, and direct the work of others on projects.
- Act as the mechanical point-of-contact for clients, other disciplines, and pre-con services for their scope areas.
- Develop project documents, including calculations, reports, and construction drawings and specifications, according to regulatory and industry standards.
- Provide mentorship to earlier-career engineers on projects related to HVAC, plant and clean utility, plumbing, and compressed gas systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a design firm setting.
- Professional Registration (Licensure).
- Advanced experience with performing engineering calculations, developing and implementing HVAC, mechanical utility, plumbing/drainage fixture, fire protection, and piping systems designs.
- Advanced experience with the mechanical/plumbing/fire code and applicable building codes.
- Advanced experience conducting and leading field surveys of existing conditions and support of field reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- LEED, WELL, or other sustainable design accredited professional.
- Intermediate experience with troubleshooting issues with mechanical systems.
