Job Title: Geriatric Care Nurse - Mississauga

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care. As a Geriatric Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct resident care with interdisciplinary team members
  • Supervise unregulated staff and students in the unit
  • Communicate effectively with families and residents
  • Assess, prioritize, and manage resident care needs
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Registered Practical Nurse with current Certificate of Competence in good standing from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Previous experience in a long-term care setting
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Good leadership skills
  • Proven clinical experience with a resident-centred care focus

Working Conditions:
