We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at VAL/Mar Construction Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services. Key responsibilities include assessing requirements, developing specifications, negotiating offers, and awarding contracts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services
  • Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers
  • Award contracts to appropriate parties
  • Establish delivery schedules
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
