Job Summary
The Global Procurement Excellence Manager is responsible for implementing best practices in procurement, managing a team, and ensuring the procurement process is efficient and effective. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as experience with procurement systems and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage initiatives and projects to improve governance, increase efficiency, and maximize procurement reliability and enterprise profitability.
- Identify potential improvement opportunities in the source-to-contract process and implement changes.
- Manage and report savings KPIs, providing regular insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and category managers to implement projects and improve procurement processes.
- Develop and deploy procurement systems at the corporate level.
- Design and monitor key KPIs, such as the number of active suppliers.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and summarize data in presentation format.
- Support supplier relationship management and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent business experience in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or a related function, including leading organizational and business process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with SAP, Ariba, and other enterprise procurement systems.
