Lighting Artist

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Artist to join our team at People Can Fly Studio. As a Lighting Artist, you will be responsible for creating compelling lighting that sets the mood, tells the story, and brings the environment to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the creative team to achieve lighting goals and ensure consistency throughout the game.
  • Develop and implement lighting techniques to enhance the game's atmosphere and immersion.
  • Work with the FX department to create atmospheric, 3D scenes using the right color palette and artistic choices.
  • Optimize lighting for performance and ensure all lights are as optimal as possible.
  • Assist level designers with lighting support to achieve their goals.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in the video game industry as a Lighting Artist or related position.
  • Shipped-title experience.
  • Strong understanding of lighting principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in lighting tools and software, such as Unreal Engine.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
