About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Generative AI Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. - D46. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement AI solutions that leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) GenAI services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate customer adoption and provide guidance on customer engagements
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS SageMaker services teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback
  • Develop and support an AWS internal community of ML-related subject matter experts worldwide
  • Implement and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms under Gen AI
Requirements
  • 7 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
  • 5+ years of management experience of technical, customer-facing resources
  • 5 years of specific technology domain areas experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities
  • Experience managing data pipelines
  • Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team
  • Active in the open source community (e.g. HuggingFace, StableDiffusion, etc)
  • Large models pretrain/fine-tuning experience, familiar with distributed training
