Job Overview

As a Level Design Director at Ubisoft, you will be responsible for crafting a selection of rewarding missions that combine game design and narrative elements to create an immersive gaming experience.

You will lead a talented group of level designers to transform vision into reality, guiding them to polish and connect their projects to create a seamless and engaging gameplay experience for players.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the World Design Director and Core Team Members
  • Brainstorm and Research to Plan Mission Guidelines
  • Assist Level Designers during Prototyping
  • Outline the Gameplay Experience in Mission Documentation
  • Coordinate and Oversee Mission Level Designers
  • Balance Artistic Aspects with Technical Constraints
  • Provide Mentorship and Constructive Feedback
  • Solve Issues Uncovered by Play Testers and Cross-Functional Teams
Requirements
  • College Diploma in Game Design or Equivalent
  • At Least 8 Years of Experience in the Video Game Industry or Relevant Experience and 3 Years of Leadership Experience
  • Exceptional Communication, Interpersonal, and Presentation Skills
  • Solid Understanding of Level Design and All Phases of Video Game Production
  • Excellent Time Management, Problem-Solving, and Organizational Skills
  • Innovative, Creative, and Collaborative Spirit
  • Ability to Accept Feedback and Adapt to It
