Job Title: Postdoctoral Fellow

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral fellow to join our research team at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. The successful candidate will work with a senior scientist and multi-disciplinary research teams to contribute to a research program focused on improving inclusion for people with disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to data collection, data analysis, and knowledge translation activities
  • Write and prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
  • Contribute to writing and submitting grant applications
  • Support the training and supervision of research students
  • Develop new ideas and project proposals, including grants and research protocols
  • Present research findings at conferences

Qualifications:

  • Recent PhD in a relevant field, such as sociology, rehabilitation, or health sciences
  • Strong academic record and previous research experience
  • Experience with data analysis and REDCap
  • Experience with interviewing and qualitative analysis, including NVIVO
  • Experience with systematic reviews and relevant software
  • Advanced word processing skills and technical competencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent English communication skills
