The Transportation Supervisor is a key role within Canadian National Railway, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of train services within a designated territory or terminal. Main Responsibilities- Safety Orientation, Understanding, Compliance and Enforcement
- Attend Front Line Supervisor Development Programs to learn and understand CN's operating rules and regulations
- Coach and train unionized employees on safe and productive work procedures
- Build safety compliance and improve safety results through regular safety observations
- Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Attend Front Line Supervisor Development Programs to learn and understand CN's internal systems and processes
- Maintain teamwork and order amongst staff, contractors, and internal clients
- Use operational data to identify opportunities to improve asset utilization and service reliability
- Planning and Organizing Workload
