Job Title: MRI Technologist

At Humber River Health, we're seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assess patients for MRI procedures, including MRI safety screening and obtaining contrast consent.
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Review and analyze images to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) as an MRI Technologist.
  • MRT plus MRI certification.
  • Registration with CAMRT preferred.
  • Previous recent clinical MRI experience.
  • Working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Good teamwork and customer service skills.
  • IV certification.
