Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team at North York General Hospital. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing imaging examinations in the MRI modality, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to perform imaging examinations, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in MRI technology and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, safety, and respect within our hospital community.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario.
  • Member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiologists, preferred.
  • Post-graduate experience in a hospital setting, preferred.
  • Experience in MRI, an asset.
  • BCLS certification, an asset.
  • Bilingualism in French/English, an asset.
