About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Abdul Syed Caregiver. This is a permanent, full-time position offering 35-40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal care
  • Administer medications and provide bedside care
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding when required
  • Launder clothing and household linens, and mend as needed
  • Provide companionship and engage in regular exercise with clients
Work Setting

This role involves working in an employer's/client's home, where staff accommodation may be available. The work environment is fast-paced and requires flexibility.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Punctuality, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, judgement, organized, and patience
