Job Title: Bookkeeper

The Child Club is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Work Environment:

The Child Club offers a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Bookkeeper, you will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

35 hours per week.
