Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at CANUS ADVISORS LTD.

Job Summary

The Technical Support Specialist will provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and other technology-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide solutions to technical issues related to computer systems, software, and other technology-related problems.
  • Research and Troubleshooting: Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Training and Development: Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties and help them develop the skills needed to use technology effectively.
  • Log Maintenance: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Collaboration: Participate in the redesign of applications and other software, and supervise other technical support workers in this group.
  • Network and Internet Support: Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
