Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Trend Hardwood Floor. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by measuring, marking, and cleaning as necessary.
  • Install Flooring: Measure, cut, and install flooring materials, including carpeting, hardwood, and resilient flooring.
  • Repair and Maintain: Inspect and repair damaged flooring, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communicate with Clients: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide them with excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in flooring installation, or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
