About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Leonardo Sales LPS Drywall. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a durable finish.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall projects.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete drywall installations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate drywall installations.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to handle heavy loads.
  • Strong judgment and reliability to ensure high-quality drywall installations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English language.
