Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team at Leonardo Sales LPS Drywall. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in commercial and residential settings.

Responsibilities
  • Install drywall sheets, measuring, cutting, and fitting them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 5 years or more of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • Portuguese language proficiency.
  • Ability to work in commercial, residential, and various locations.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and judgment.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Work Environment

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. You will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and in various locations. We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week and a competitive salary.
